'Tis The Season
Because of
the covid-19 virus, a lot of people must have lost some of their loved ones and
this maybe their first holiday season without them which is sad, as they are
probably trying to celebrate and grieve at the same time. That is why we should
at least stay in our respective households this year, which feels like the
safest and most responsible thing to do. Although, guidelines and protocols are
now in a lower risk because of the higher number of people getting vaccinated
in all the localities of our country. The usual Christmas glee and merriment
that we have been accustomed to is indeed possible this year, I really hope and
pray. But still, this year has been difficult for all of us but we cling to
hope. That amidst all of the confusing and fear that the pandemic has brought,
God is with us, has always been and always be with us. Where in Jesus is the
light of the world.
Christmas is that time of the year which we all wait for eagerly, especially for us Filipinos, we welcome the season uniquely with different flavors and traditions that make Christmas extra special. Spending the Christmas in the Philippines is truly wholesome. Even we are through this pandemic we all find our ways to enjoy and celebrate our Christmas with our loved ones and still be grateful for everything. This just shows that even if we need to spend Christmas differently from what we are used to and going through all these difficult times, Christmas is still in our hearts.
